I mean, I love Pinball FX3, and I've managed to get all but 10 tables so far on my Xbox. Sometimes they're great, sometimes they're not. Zen isn't exactly known to be reliable when it comes to customer support or even just basic info regarding updates and stuff. I can understand the frustration of trying to contact someone and getting no response. It's not like he came here the day after the request. It's not Zen's fault he chose to wait until the code expired.īut to his defense, he's also waited long enough. On top of that, he already got a code and decided not to use it right away. It comes off as "I'm a well paying customer, I demand everyone drop everything and respond to me, now." Especially with that whole "Do I have to publicly shame them on Twitter to get a response?" nonsense. Like yeah, on a first read, it sounds a bit snobby and obnoxious. I kind of agree, but I don't think it's as bad as you're making it out to be. Do I have to shame them publicly on Twitter or something? Why is this as difficult as trying to get an airline to refund tickets or something?Īny suggestions from anyone on who/where to contact so that I can get the code?ĭo I need to show them how many times I've bought (Xbox 360 and Xbox One) and re-bought (Steam) tables from them to get them to actually respond? I'm happy to do that if I can just find someone who can actually help me and send me a valid cabinet mode unlock code. What does a (well paying) customer have to do to get a cabinet mode unlock code? I get that they are trying to guard against improper commercial use of cabinet mode, but this is seriously ridiculous. I actually tried registering an account at the Zen Studio forums this weekend, and of course the registration/verification email never arrived from the forum software, so I have an account there that can't post. I received the reply email (asking for a photo, etc) and replied to that with the appropriate info (and a reference back to my first request). Last week, I also tried starting a new request from scratch via the Steam screen. Over a week ago, I tried emailing customer support and informing them that the code they'd sent was coming back as invalid (as they suggest on the FAQ page for cabinet mode). ![]() So now I have restarted a request for a cabinet mode unlock code. ![]() And it comes back as invalid when trying to unlock. By that time, life events had swamped me so I didn't end up trying the code until about a month ago. Of course it was a ridiculously long wait to get a response, but about 30 days after my request I finally received a code. I was in the process of planning a virtual pinball cab and wanted to prepare for FX3 to be part of that setup. In late Dec 2019, I requested a cabinet mode unlock code via the normal channels.
